About Me

My name is Ardon McDonald Turner, and I’m pleased to share my journey in photography with you. I began my adventure with my first DSLR camera in 2014 at the age of 37, and since that moment, I have been deeply captivated by the art of photography. It is a source of both joy and fulfillment, and I often reflect on how I wish I had discovered this passion 30 years earlier. While I have explored various styles, I found my true calling in portrait photography. As an introvert, I particularly appreciate the collaborative process between photographer and subject, working together to bring a shared vision to life.

  Although I am relatively new to the professional scene, I have been practicing and studying the art of photography for the past 10 years. My approach to working with clients is characterized by honesty and transparency. I am confident, that my skillset, attention to detail, commitment to professionalism, and dedication to capturing authentic natural images, working together we can create something beautiful.

Although most of us aren’t models and superstars, I believe that every individual possesses unique qualities, and it is my aim to highlight those attributes in a manner that resonates with their true character and let those shine. 

Looking ahead, I aspire to teach and inspire younger students, particularly BIPOC individuals who may feel that the art of photography is beyond their reach. as it was in my youth. I would like to open doors for those interested in this beautiful art form.

In addition to my passion for photography, I’m happily married and a proud parent of three wonderful children. I have a keen interest in motorsports, particularly Formula 1. The excitement of the races, the tech and the precision involved, inspire my creative process and emphasize the importance of teamwork and innovation. I also enjoy riding motorcycles and creating music in my leisure time.
